This looks like fuss over nothing. It's not like the shoes are called trollop and despot. There is nothing stopping a girl buying the boy shoes anyway. If it's viewed that this company is telling girls that they can't be leaders, then prove them wrong. If your ambitions are stifled by a shoe shop you've fallen at the first hurdle!

Actually, in 1811 the population of England, Wales, Scotland and Ireland was 18 million and by 1851 had increased to 27 million and in 1950 it was 50million.

I don't really buy into the idea of pushing a gender agenda in terms of creating everything a gender neutral, that to me lacks the creative spark and initiative, rather it should be to remove the concept of x being for girls and y being for boys in terms of style - and most importantly in the basis that there is nothing intrinsically wrong with selecting say clothing from one, or another, or both gender types to wear. 'Utopia' should be bright, and colourfull and diverse enough that everyone should be able to be who they are (rather than who others insist they should be). There is nothing wrong with a little girl being a 'princess' if she wants, as long as she has the option to be anything else, and so does her brother. I think choice allows people to be diverse in what they choose. If something is inappropriate then consumer feedback can be a good thing however, there are cases where I think it can become a little extreme.

Nationality is independent of race in terms of eligibility.

However when it comes to culture, I'm afraid there comes a giant gulf between what many of us regard as valid. Personally I regard that much damage has happened because of left wing ideology on this matter....multiculturalism for example.
