Shouldn’t have been his prime either. He shouldn’t be there yet.

That happened years ago, why did Klopp sell him, other than we were mug enough to lay out £30m?

Benteke gets games for a good Belgium team, Bright never got an England cap , or was wanted by any of the top teams.
But my glasses are the same as yours , loved him , grafted all day long and him and Wright were mustard. The winner against millwall in the 4-3 at home (with Hopkins 40 yard own goal) , has one of many highlights.
He'd be in my all time eleven I've seen and I've seen Benteke.
Like Benteke though.

Comedy gold. Look at the competition bright had compared to benteke.

Bright was good at Wednesday after us, he still scored many without wright besides him.

I think Benteke is a total waste of money. If he had scored the ones he missed we would be up above the top 10 and well clear on points. Says it all when defenders have scored more. Oh, and will someone ask him to stop all his posturing and pointing to the sky when he does actually manage to score. Sell him quick while you may still get a couple of quid for him. ps. Transfer window? what a shambles.

He did, Ian Wright was out for a while with a leg fracture and he still caused havoc with defences and goalkeepers.

Bright through on goal and takes Eric Nixon out, but ends up with a busted arm, but still carries on. Could you imagine Tekkers doing that? Mark Bright for me a different gravy, as for value for money wise let’s not even go there...

Totally false comparison. Benteke lace fit Bright's to not boots. Rearrange.

Not that I condone violence, but I do remember Martin Keown for Everton at Selhurst having to go off after Brighty elbowed him in the face. I think he broke his nose.

..and yet more violence. Brighty's equalising shot in the semi at Villa Par nearly took Macmahon's head off. I was behind that on the Holte. Bright was a better player than Benteke is.

I presume that Benteke would have the weight and reach in the ring though. He's built like a heavyweight - shame he isn't built like a striker.
