Palace supporter I think

Supported Palace for over 69 years since the age of 7 and have seen all the ups and downs and will probably see many more ups and downs before I go up to the big football club in the sky.

I expect many red and yellow cards for HT this season. They are an immature side using those tactics as they won't get away with that behaviour for many of the games.

What a load of b*llocks. Their first game in the top flight in about 40 years , they did what they had to. If you're boxing and someone is fighting dirty and not getting pulled, you do the same, football is the same.
Thomas and Gray wouldn't take any sh*t, we were never bullied in them days.
Get stuck in or get relegated.

You could also tackle from behind in those days...old skool. But those days are gone; I agree that we need players with more physicality about them in the tackle...Punch ISNT that player

I sort of agree - you have to fight fire with fire.
Jedinak - for example - would have ensured that the Huddersfield player who caused the injury got a serious whack asap.
Admittedly too late for Wilf but it would have shown them who is the boss.
With the likes of Puncheon in midfield there is little bite except for Ludo and he had already gone off.

Do we know if it was a dirty tackle?
Talk to the ref, like all teams do, but 'put it on the other team', mid/lower table teams need to put their foot in and at least match the other teams physically. Huddersfield are playing to their strengths.

I agree about Jedi - when he was mobile. Shame he slowed down in that final season.
But not sure about Luka...He wasn't off the pitch when they were taking him out in the first half. I'm afraid he didn't show any bite on Saturday.

Do you (or anyone) have footage of this? It should be sent to the FA along with a line of complaints of bad refereeing on Saturday.

I think some of our players were preoccupied playing Ludo.

It didn't look too dirty. Now Harry Kane's tackle on Sunday... that was a dirty tackle!

Yes Im pretty sure the FA will support some disgruntled Palace fans, sack the ref, fine Huddersfield and have the match replayed if not award us all 3 points.

We will see.

If teams fighting relegation, are aggressive and get 'stuck in', they will get more points than if they are shrinking violets . Nothing to see about it.
