A younger version of Scott Dann or Damien Delaney. He's a hoofer like to play the ball off the ground and play deep balls. Doesn't exactly work in the Dutch system another square peg to fit into a round hole. I can only hope this is a ruse to make Liverpool drop there price on Sakho because otherwise we're paying 15 million for s****.

He hasn't quite made it at Spurs, but they are a top four, Champions league club now.

I would be very disappointed if we signed Wimmer as he's hardly done brilliantly at Spurs and for a player of his age he has made surprisingly few caps for Austria, who let's face it, are hardly a footballing force in Europe

From the Telegraph today "West Brom agreed a £15 million deal with Tottenham Hotspur for Kevin Wimmer last week but they are now facing competition from Crystal Palace, who also want Red Bull Leipzig winger Oliver Burke." Probably old news being recycled

A bit harsh Sherlock, it must be difficult to get in a Spurs team ahead of their current defenders, plus if you don't get first team football you are not likely to get picked for your country no matter how lowly they are or how good you are.
