The problem with people who seek to justify this kind of thing is that almost any reason can be found to tear down any statue. It should be put to a vote as too what the people want in the area around it. Then if they don't want it, stick it in a museum. 'Who are you and how did you get in here? I'm a locksmith. I believe that there was a vote and it was decided to take the statue down, which is why the far right were protesting.

It's 106 miles to Chicago, we got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark... and we're wearing sunglasses.

It was, the democratically elected council, took a vote, in which the outcome was to move the statue from the park (not to take it down, but to move it).
