You are right there. Our subs bench last weekend was shocking. So really need players in every position but as you say if 18 million is the majority of our budget then other positions are priority. The only thing that shocked me was that Townsend and Tomkinz were on it instead of Puncheon and Riedewald.

He's a big powerful unit (6ft2ins) and could offer attacking cover both for Benteke down the middle and Zaha on the wing. So two gaps plugged with one signing

Would this be blocking the way for our youth players like Kai Kai? Not saying he's ready, but is that a consideration?

Not saying he's ready, but is that a consideration? maybe somewhat, but then it would help push out sako and lee, get those off the bench and will enable players like kai kai to be the ones on the bench. anyway, Burke is left footed, him on the left, zaha on the right again eventually, townsend likes cutting it with both feet and can shoot, I say Andros CAM.

Clearly interested in him if the press conference today from Frank is anything to go by. Talked about how good and young he was and how well Leipzig did to get him then finished with 'We have other options as well'.

"He's still very young, maybe, but we are also focusing on other players." Well at least it confirms we're looking at bring more players in.

With 9 defenders already why do we need more ? At the other end we have just one centre forward ?
