I wonder why we took that loan from Barclays secured against the season's income if we aren't going to use it to buy players with

I don't understand how we're the only team in the league with no money

I reckon they had around 20 million to spend. And fdb wants more than one player. He's also probably aware that's just for this summer. Next if he's still here hell have a much bigger wedge to play with.

Maybe even in the Jan sales.

Ridiculous post. Maybe people should take a Daily Mail report with a pinch of salt. Asto your comment about FDB's tactics, what do you base this on?

You will work it out in time!

Its simple, if you spend more money than you generate in income, you go into administration in time.

Congratulations on being the first person to mention Administration in this transfer window.

Our defence proved yesterday we can cope without Sakho. I'd rather we focus on the positions we actually need, GK, RWB, Striker etc...

By that same logic, yesterday proved we don't need a Goalkeeper because Wayne Hennessey made 13 saves and also we have Speroni and Kleton Perntreou as Hennessey's back up.

I have heard De Boer sing Sakho's praises.

I don't think it's a case of we have no money, or that Frank doesn't fancy him. It's more that we don't have 30mil to spend on Sakho.

Personally I think that's fair enough but we would all love him here. I would love to see that happen but hey .

Is Sakho even healthy? I thought he was still crocked.

So perhaps FDB thinks he needs help that can actually play in the squad quickly.

Sakho isn't in the Pool squad and isn't playing games, so 25 million is a lot to spend on a squad player that might not be ready till October / November. And it was a big injury, counting on him could be risky --just like Wickham should have been ready soon, but a setback means he's gone till the new year.

I like Sakho, but that much money on one crocked player would be a big risk. I'd rather spend it on three young players and play the odds they could contribute.

No matter who we get, it's just a matter of head-above-water till Zaha's back in form and then we'll have more of a chance to climb the table.

I've posted this before and I'll post it again: I don't understand all this 'Sakho love'. He's just another centre-half.

In the 8 games he played for us, he showed that he could pose on the ball and look stylish, but only when not under pressure. When pressed, he looked like every other defender does when under pressure - nervy and vulnerable. If he's so great, why do Liverpool want rid of him and where are the other teams fighting for his signature?

If we have £30m to spend (and that's a big 'if'), it would be far wiser to spend some of it on at least a couple of players who offer some sort of goal threat and dead ball danger - Scott Sinclair and Berg Gudmundsson spring to mind.

Our priority should be that, in my opinion: not a Keeper (Hennessey will be okay if the trolls stop digging him out), not a CB, not an RWB (we've already potentially got one in Lee).

Just my opinion.
