I saw a documentary about the hundred or so people who stay behind in the winter to maintain the research station in Antarctica. About 20 of them are women. One commented on favourable ratio by saying that "well the odds are good, but the goods are odd." As to my personal tally of continents: 4. North America (du'uh), South America, Europe and Australia/Earls Court. However, of the North America conquests, in my single days, I did amass a pretty broad spectrum of races. All of them bar Antarctica. Unlike Penguins I'm not up for life-time coupling just yet. In fact my chap has been to more countries than the rest of me! I am hoping that in my lifetime I get to make the full set, and one day give the rest of the Galaxy a go
