I Don't know if you have ever played competitive football before but if you have please send that genius manager to 'CPFC2010' that was willing to do what you suggested ... lol

Let me put it this way If you had a car that did 12 miles per gallon to nip down to central croydon and replaced it with one that can do 56 miles per gallon why ever would you then want to use the gas guzzler.
We at Palace can only afford a second-hand car that we may get 40mpg, but currently, needs tweaking.

You will find similarly that managers who can do total football can do all the other stuff since tactics and ball skills are what it takes, and they do it fast and efficiently. A manager who can teach his player's total football also (since that's his job primary job 'on the pitch') knows how to teach those ball skills. That's why not all managers teach Total football. They themselves don't have those ball skills or know how to teach them. Since many of our 50k + per week players pretend they are a worth top dollar(EPL players are top dollar). Such managers are as rare as honest and decent car mechanics that know how to teach this.

What you keep suggesting is that our players are not up to this passing football malarky, well Then if they are only willing to put the effort of a 6-10k per week hoof up the field ball player and not put the effort to learn to be a 50-70k per week top money(that's EPL) passing dribbling and when needed holding player, they will be found out and need to give way to the youth Frank much prefers to teach to anyway.

If you google FDB (guess you are too busy on this board)... you may find that Total Football is his managerial style of play and that's what he sets out on his stall, and he makes no secret about it. It doesn't mean he is a one trick pony since He successfully competed as player and manager at the very top level with and against all modern footballing formations (Ajax did compete in the Champions league during his tenure as well I believe).

If The whole Board and Steve Parish did not want to play 'Total Football' they had a list long as your arm they could choose from to play hoof up the wingers and potluck relegation battle soccer.

Also, I recall seeing a video in which Patrik Kluivert said he has every confidence that Frank can teach any team to play well.

So you are not telling the truth as the rest of us who have seen the same matches as you that many others have pointed out which you keep ignoring. Therefore IMHO ARE clearly only seeking attention.
