Unlike yourself who refers to FdB as an idiot BS states that FdB is an experienced manager who will adjust.

Totally different to the nonsense you are spouting.

He also states that FDB should concentrate on avoiding relegation rather than trying to play " total football "

What " pedigree " ????
He's never managed an English team
Let alone in the premiership
You guys keep making excuses for an incredibly poor manager
Why ????

And you've come to the conclusion after two games that he's an incredibly poor manager. Why?

If you're asking "what pedigree?" As a serious question it just goes to proves how little you actually know about the game. His pedigree couldn't really be any richer. Have a little look back over his career to remind yourself just what the De Boer's achieved in the game.

I wouldn't describe him as "poor", but his reputation is based entirely on his time at Ajax, in a league that is not comparable to the PL and at a team that is not comparable with Palace. He tried to impose a new system on Inter and failed miserably and his debut pronouncement, that our current squad was best suited to 3-4-3, was patently nonsense. It would appear that he's as new to 3-4-3 as we are, having played 4-3-3 at Ajax. There clearly aren't the funds available to purchase the type of players he'd need to make his vision work immediately.

On the plus side, he's demonstrated that he's prepared to be flexible, evidenced by the second half at Anfield, plus the overall performance there was a definite improvement on Huddersfield. It's impossible to draw any conclusions from the Ipswich game except that we won, which will be good for team confidence. The real test of whether he's learning how to win games with the squad he has will be on Saturday. Lose to Swansea and he may need a radical rethink. The other unknown at the moment is exactly how this transfer window will end. We certainly need to get some points on the board before we reach September 23.

Agree. I think we need minimum of 6 points from the three 'winnable' games coming up, the three games after that are a nightmare.

NO , it actually proves how little YOU know about the game
He's managed a very well funded club ( Ajax ) in a league worse than our Scottish leagues
He's played for some great teams

You want a list of great players that have played for great teams that have either not managed or FAILED a management
Do your homework before you tackle me about my knowledge of the game

I still will never understand why we didn't carry on playing Sam's way , get 40 points and THEN start messing about with system and formation

Because people soon start complaining because you're playing 'ugly football'. I can explain why were not playing Sam's way, he resigned. Unsurprisingly, FDB wants to play FDB's way.
