I have been beating the drum about Puncheon for a long, long time. He is a liability with the ball.

Which is why we nearly won that cup final, of course.

He's definitely too comfortable and complacent. If we aren't selling him we've got enough form players now in that part of the park now that the heavy team are fit again to oust him from the starting lineup. Cabaye, McArthur, Loftus-Cheek.

Absolutely. I had heard he stuck two fingers up at Pardew when he netted that goal, but despite the unprofessional nature of it all (if it even happened), I thought "yes Punch, some f**king passion".

I'd REALLY love for him to find some form. I have nothing against him at all and on principal he can still become a fan's favourite again, but he needs to be managed better, both tactically and his morale/passion.

An example of how fickle some fans are becoming.

Macurther gets slated for 2/3s of a season, one good game and he's the best thing since sliced bread again and yet wait for the chorus of criticism when he doesn't score twice on Saturday.

fickle or naturally selective. Both puncheon and McArthur haven't been great for a while, But the prior is ALWAYS in the team and doesn't do much at all.

If McArthur has had one classy game, irrespective of opponents, then he should get his turn. Puncheon didn't even shine in pre season as far as I remember.

Its not fickle, its relief that we all can mention a good reason why puncheon can be dropped for least one game, as someone has better form than him.

I've been critical of mcarthur, and wanted to sell him numerous times throughout the summer but he finally looks like he recovered from the back spasms that hindered him under bid Sam. 2 fantastic strikes yesterday and would love to see him alongside a midfield of RLC and cabaye. I'm sorry but puncheon was poor again. Side note the Ipswich town fans were a real credit, sung throughout the whole match. Positive going into a massive game against Swansea. Coyp

So does macca start in midfield instead of loftus cheek?
