Trying to be rational (hard I know given the 3 results):
1. I am really disappointed with Luka. Its as if he's a different player. Losing tackles, losing the ball, lack lustre. What's going on with him?
2. Why pay £8m for Reidewald who is no use whatsoever and not put the money towards Sakho? Reason it would seem is that FDB thinks he a good prospect. Well I'm afraid this is the premier league. Its about results.
3. We have a top top striker easily capable of 20 goals in a season whose trademark finish is heading in crosses. So, what do we do? Play a system that doesn't have crosses from wingers as a central theme.
4. I find it hard to watch a FDB press conference. Is it me or is he just totally un-inspiring?

I agree with all your points, especially 4. He is extremely dull and bores me to tears.

I used to almost live watching Sam's press conferences. So up front and honest and you just got the feeling it rubbed off massively on the players and fans.

For reference SA returning if Frank is sacked won't be the solution as we need long term.

My take on Saturday:

It is clear the players are far more comfortable playing 4-3-3. Second half we were miles better and created plenty of half chances.
Cabaye has to start in 4-3-3. He is by far our best midfield player.
We can't sell Townsend as he really is our best attacking option without Wilf.
Hessessy is not good enough at this level.

FDB said we were miles better second half also. But wasn't a big part of that because Swansea were two up within a couple of minutes after the restart. The damage had been done and they could sit back much more and defend their lead?

Agreed, should never go by the second half performance unless it changes the result in your favour and you go on to learn from it in the coming games - so far we have lost three on the trot and haven't learnt from any second half performances. We will continue to lose I'm afraid until this present manager departs. Can't say though that I'm confident in a replacement turning things around. However, it needs to be done in my opinion otherwise we won't have a chance of Surviving? Freedman and Lee anyone?

The flaw there is if we carry on playing like we did in the first half we will be relegated by Christmas
