Lets do the deal, we need a defender and we can play Wilf on the right, and PVH or Schlupp on the left. The money would cover Sakho coming in Still need to shift a few fringe players on, Lee, Mutch and sako

Think he was all right and positive against Swansea.

So if Townsend went, we could get munir in from Barcelona as an attacker and hopefully bring in a gk. PS We also need a RWB Suggestion, get another (much cheaper) CB in and move Fosu-Mensah to RWB.

A proven PL player, settled in the squad, putting the effort in... Can't be gambling trying to replace him now. I would have taken the reported 10m + Demarai Gray, but never really believed that was a genuine offer.
