A question to everyone who wants to sack FDB immediately: what self-respecting manager are we going to hire in his stead? Who would want to come to a club where you could be sacked after 3 games, having not been backed in the transfer market? Unless FDB has some kind of brain injury, I think he'll go back to a back 4, like we did in the second half yesterday, and we'll have a perfectly unremarkable lower-half season.

I left the game yesterday disgrunted,disappointed, dejected etc etc and of course I heard all the antipathy towards FDB and Parish. In the 'cold light of day', I have reflected on the fact that all we have spent this far is a mere £8 Mill on players, including 2 on 'Loan' are inexperienced at PL or indeed 1st team level.Yesterday we had 2 of our signings out and Zaha missing as well so whilst another home defeat, against Swansea, is a dire result perhaps it could be put into perspective. FDB has only be in charge for 3 games with hardly being handed a significant sum in the transfer kitty so perhaps it is time for all to calm down and see how matters progress before hurling brickbats in his direction. I am one who thought that if we were a mid-table team one could afford to adopt a new style (A La Ajax !) and endure a fallow period of 'Growing pains' but that it was a high-risk strategy at our club and I entered the season with some trepidation.Let's see how things on if/when we sign players in the next few days. But it shows we are going backwards, this will be our 5th season in the premier so we should be building on what big Sam left us instead SP appoints a manager who dosent play our style of football. What's the point of having benteke if you not playing to his strengths?

Shake it all about. I was all for sacking him but after reading a few posts here I reckon he should be given a chance if we go back to a back four of course. If we continue with 3 we will be in big trouble if he is not backed and let's face it what manager is going to want to come here knowing he has 3 games to prove himself and get points. No back four = sack frank

It doesn't matter who we buy because we cant buy enough players to make franks style work, all that will happen is we will have half a team that can, and half a team that cant play possession football, he wont change an ideology that has been ingrained in him since he was 8 years of age at Ajax
