Due to the rumours a statement from the club wouldn't go amiss instead of a second hand newspaper report .(though byfield is normally spot on ) I don't like chairman who get involved with the dressing room apart from a bit of encouragement . Back De Bore with a transfer kitty and let him get on with his job .
And we still need a striker |

I actually find all these stories hard to believe. Why, as Chairman, would I leak the details of my meeting. Why wouldn't I conduct it in private. It could be about anything and part of every day business. Any leak weakens our position in the transfer market. Mind you if it wasn't about his future where is the denial. Bad business conduct all around.

It may because of frustration brought about by apparent or perceived lack of progress in the transfer market.

Surely the Burnley game is the final opportunity for FdB. We're the laughing stock? So be it, it's soon forgotten if we climb the table. Think Dougie and Sammy Lee at least would get the players fired up, and let them play it the Palace way....We have the players for it!
