I do agree if he's gone he'll never manage a top league team in England again.

I would disagree with the Ajax comment. When he took over at Ajax they wasn't a monopoly as they hadn't won a trophy in somethingn like six years and haven't won one since he left. But that's another story not worth discussing now.

You have zero clue you mean!

Read McArthurs piece in the Guardian, he states de Boer has not insisted they stick to 343, but adapt to the opposition. The cancer in the club goes way back, Sam only papered over the cracks.

Well prepared to get slated for this but if FdB is to go would DF along with Sammy be put in temporary charge surely?

If that would be the case although all very hypothetical is it really that bad? We are in desperate need of a GK, a Sakho and a CF at least I would assume that's not contentious but with current players I do believe there is enough there to put out a decent and competitive starting XI.

I would hope a Sammy n DF temporary appointment would aim to start playing a better suited formation with players in the right positions and sorry for this but 'go back to basics'.

If that were the case I would be quite happy with that and although admittedly a Freedman fan I would hope Palace fans would get behind the two of them until a more constructive decision was taken on the clubs future?

Now Zaha's got a bit of green grass ahead of him here... and finds Ambrose... not a bad effort!!!!

Good post I agree that the problems are deep rooted within the make up of the club, Can't put my finger on the problem, But For ages our squad has underperformed

No your right , I mean playing Huddersfield and Swansea with our players we would expect to concede 5 goals at home and score none right ??
I rate McArthur highly , but what do you expect him to say " Oh yeah DeBoer hasnt got a clue " ~ If he's adapting then he's not adapting very well is he ???

So finally it seems that Parish is gonna pull the trigger on FDB
As you know I wanted it done after the Huddersfield game , but het whats another 6 points to lose !!
So thoughts please on who you would like to come in next
My thoughts would be to buy Sakho and tempt Sam back , Im sure the reason he retired is because he was told there was no money
ANYONE but Freedman please ~ he's a bad Championship manager who is way out of depth in the Premiership ( Like FDB is )
What would Freedman say to Premiership players or International players such as Cabaye , or Benteke , at least FDB andSammy Lee won player honors of the highest calibre !!

Christ almighty, why bother reading anymore?

FdB won with Ajax, but Dutch football is not the same as in the Cruyff years. For H...sake, even Steve "Wolly" McLaren won the Dutch shampionship not long ago....

I can stomach freedman sourcing players in the background. He has a talent there. But grassing on the club after walking out? The walking out is one thing, but grassing on us? He wasn't even under questioning. He was forthcoming and proactive in grassing us up.

how did freedman "grass us up"?

dont remember

And if sam doesn't come back (which he won't ), who else would you suggest. No one available at the moment who I can think of. So you're looking at poaching someone else's manager. Who's going to leave their existing club after 3 games to come to palace, who sack their manager after 3 games and don't seem to be able to hold onto a manager for very long. Add onto that compensation paid to FdB and compensation to another club for poaching their manager....

Roy Hodgson is ready and waiting to take over, apparently.

In terms of football, I'd rather have Dougie over Hodgson. His last job, he did well, considering what is happening in the background at Nottingham Forest. Bolton, again, were a team who were always gonna slide down the divisions.
