He threatened to walk away if he wasn't provided with a suitable clutch of players in the transfer window and today he got Sakho (and de Boer is apparently the only person in SE25 who doesn't like Sakho) and a total failure to sign anyone else. He threatened to walk away if he wasn't provided with a suitable clutch of players in the transfer window and today he got Sakho (and de Boer is apparently the only person in SE25 who doesn't like Sakho) and a total failure to sign anyone else. So he may not require to be sacked.

I don't necessarily think it's that he doesn't like Sakho, I think he probably wasn't too keen on the idea of blowing the majority of the budget on him and then scraping the barrel in desperation to make up the numbers. It's exactly how it's panned out and unfortunately we came up short even with that plan. Shambles really We're the Arthur over ere!
