I wasn't advocating spending any money. b) I don't think he is the answer to our prayers, I just think I'd rate him higher than Ladapo, Anderson and Lokilo as a backup striker. That's based on not very much evidence though. I've not seen a lot of those guys. I'm merely thinking in terms of experience. I thought I'd mention those things in case anyone thought I was jizzing my knickers over a bang average player.

If Gayle wants regular starts then he has to be in the championship , not a premier team striker . Its why not one of our managers ,and we had a few , while he was at the club put him in and is why Newcastle now promoted see the cash his sale will bring in as more important than him sitting on the bench , occasionally. The bottom line is as much as we all loved his few goals he just isn't good enough
And we still need a striker |
