Better than to be anti fascist than not,I'd have thought... As the Anti-Defamation League puts it: "It is important to reject attempts to claim equivalence between the antifa and the white supremacist groups they oppose. The antifa reject racism but use unacceptable tactics. White supremacists use even more extreme violence to spread their ideologies of hate, to intimidate ethnic minorities, and undermine democratic norms. Right-wing extremists have been one of the largest and most consistent sources of domestic terror incidents in the United States for many years; they have murdered hundreds of people in this country over the last ten years alone. To date, there have not been any known antifa-related murders." Edited by legaleagle (02 Sep 2017 1.57pm) Antifa are not just anti fascist. As for equivalence. I've spoken previously about equivalence between the far right and antifa. I view the far right as more of a problem with antifa close behind.....Before identity politics the far right problem was reducing. Antifa do nothing but increase the numbers joining the far right.

Pretty much taken as granted - you seem like a reasonable ordinary person, like myself. Agreed, if a teacher can manage it they should take pride in the knowledge that their students don't know their politics. I like my subject, and politics is diversion.

I don't think there could be any question that you don't carry out your job in a thoroughly professional manner.

It's a no brainer. Edited by nickgusset (03 Sep 2017 6.25pm)

Edited by Stirlingsays (03 Sep 2017 6.13pm) In a fascist system, the wealth gravitates to the top, eventually choking out the middle class and expanding the poorer class. Ring any bells?
