If we fail in this transfer window then it's not FDB's fault - it's the owners' and sporting director's for not being able to get the right players in. Of course FDB will suffer the most from this as the first team results fall on him and we know how that will end. He has not as yet been backed by his bosses which will only end in failure. Lets see how the next 14.5hours pan out.

Frank de Boer will be blamed as he's proved to be a useless manager and Dougie Freedman will be blamed as he's the hated Dougie Freedman. The only person who will come out of this transfer window smelling of roses will be Phil Alexander who will hold onto his job after Parish has sacked de Boer and Freedman and been sacked himself by the American investors

Sky Sports News just stated that Palace are looking to sign a Striker - no names, no hints on club. Wonder whether that ties in with the "striker on loan from a European club" in the tweet, or Sky have picked up the tweet as a "source".
