Sorry but sometimes you have to draw your line in the sand and stick to what you feel is right. It is Palace that are being played here...Liverpool don't need the money and Palace are desperate. My memory tells me there was a 20m fee expected for the player last jan. Now it's 30m. If there is only 30m to spend what choice do we have? We surely need more than one player today?

Please tell me this isn't true. We're planning to spend £23m & £120k a week in wages for a high-profile flop - a reject?! Thanks to Fred Bassett for posting this video link and Johnno for originally posting the suggestion. I've watched it many times over and am amazed that Ngadeu-Ngadjui hasn't been mentioned in the transfer window.

Also some on here will remember the general feeling about possibly signing Sakho for 20m last Jan and fans were very unsure. It was a huge gamble for a player who people said looked shaky...look at how that turned out.

I'd agree if that 30m had been invested wisely. However it currently appears it'll be spent on panic buys in the final few hours of the window. I'll wait until the window is shut before passing judgement, but 'work to do' is an understatement at the moment.
