So is Sakho and Niasse as back up striker enough for all of you?

Ok we can afford Sakho. Makes our defence so much better now.

Decent competent striker, and useful back up. Pretty good insurance, AND latest rumour is thta Sakho has signed.

GK is needed and I was hoping we'd get one but none have even been mentioned?

Niasse is better on the bench than Campbell.

Strangely, Big Sam doesn't rate him, even though he scored 5 times in 450 minutes of gametime under Unsworth.
Either him or Sandro Ramirez (amazing last season for Malaga) will be leaving this winter.

I'd take any one of them immediately!

Niasse was pretty silky at Selhurst. Didn’t look bad at all

Let's get in Robert Snodgrass as well. Sure to be the crowd's favourites.

We’ve got Benteke already so we might as well complete the set

I don't really know who everyone thinks we can possibly afford and who would come to us and more importantly who will happily know he is sitting behind a first choice striker 90% of the time no matter if that player doesn't score or assist or even play that well.

Add them things together and you have a budget of about £10-£15m in transfer fee, say £2m-£4m in wages, what do you get?

Niasse, Calvert-Lewin, Berahino, Sakho, Ulloha, Afobe, Success, Okaka, etc.

Or some random second string from abroad who can be a Joselu or could be a Michu. Or a heavy wages loan sturridge or walcott but not likely now with the loans we have already.

So it's quite tricky unless we splash the cash we did on benteke or Mamadou

Roy has shown how ruthless he can be. Benteke was not one of his signings. He’ll have no qualms dropping him if we can source a adequate replacement I’m sure.
