So you know better than Coleman, Pardew, Allardyce and Pullis then as all of them have played Hennessey in goal. Pardew may have tried to replace him but both keepers he tried were no better.

To call him a Sh*t bag is extremely insulting and makes your opinion totally worthless.

Pulis signed WH and then didn't play him apart from the very last game away to Fulham when we were safe.

Instead he stuck with Julian Speroni who was voted Player of the Year lol.

Swearing itself does not offend me but to be a purported Palace supporter and call one of the players a s***bag is way out of order. And btw you know diddly
squat about goalkeeping.

Fair enough mate, I'd never dare to argue with someone that says diddly squat.

Don't know what diddly squat means . Sounds like Ned Flanders been on the Mary Jane again. But don't think insulting one of our players like that is good . Bad mojo man .

Interesting reading the comments on the transfer window, and for the most part I would agree with them, but a lot of blame for the shambles seems to be being thrown about willy-nilly, so, trying to take a balanced view here's a few thoughts.........

Lots of complaints we should have gone earlier for Sakho and just paid the £30 mill and not wasted 3 games: well we actually saved £6 MILLION and got a player who is STILL not fit (so would not have played those three games anyway). This is who the biggest mob were baying for and this is who you got, so stop complaining and let's hope that he will be the saviour that everyone thinks he will!

Two wonderful contrasting views going on - a) the board did not back Frank in the transfer window and b) Frank has no experience in the EPL - so was it that the board did not back him or did Frank actually not know who he wanted for the club to be able to go in for them if he is that unfamiliar with English team players? Easier to blame Parish for it all though.

We didn't get a striker, we didn't get a goalie...... just look at our record over the past few years: a revolving door of managers and of players in/out of favour with each change, a relegation struggle every year - possibly we are not the most attractive club to a player with ambition, and sadly even the best fans in the EPL can't advance any players' career in world football.

As for the reported admin cock-up on one deal - well is anyone who has ever dealt with the box office really surprised at that..........

We will never know what went on behind the scenes in the weeks, days and hours before the deadline - perhaps we were actually better off in the old -pre digital media days, when the first anyone knew about a transfer was the earlier of them playing in a match or the weekly publication of the Croydon Addo...

Good points. First one has been banded around here. Does anybody really believe that FdB said at interview I wish to radically change the team and need 6-8 new players in the summer with SP nodding his head ? Judging by events suggests SP has been surprised about the changes or FdB was generally happy with the squad and felt he could adapt it accordingly.

Second point read somewhere it was the Toffees messing around at the death that spoiled the Niasse deal. No surprise to see him in their 25, obviously not totally surplus to requirements there. Koeman previously mentioned that they wanted another striker which did not materialise. This all looks like Bendtner Mark 2. Really need to be going earlier to targets without these chains if possible.

I read that the agent decided to hold everyone to ransom for a preposterous fee demand and we told him to do one. Which is probably the correct way to handle the matter but the real problem is that we left important deals until the last hour or two of the window. If you do that you just let anyone who wants to f*** you over in one way or another.

If a bargain or opportunity comes up at the last minute, by all means try to take advantage, but putting all our eggs in so dodgy a basket is very poor.
