The club should have been ruthless with him when his initial contracted ended and just let him go. He was never good enough even when fit to even warrant taking a gamble on him.

Not entirely fair. He had one decent spell for us where he scored a couple of goals and looked dangerous. Admittedly it didn’t last long before he succumbed to yet another injury. I would say that he was good enough at that point in time with us but that ship has now sailed and I agree he should go.

It was a long shot KB about your trouble and strife being a nurse, but if all of a sudden she takes up being a physio you will know there might be more to this Connor Wickham fixation than meets the eye.

I agree, a new contract was pretty pointless as was Benteke’s however if we had got rid of Benteke Wickham and Sorloth at the same time we really would have been down to the bare bones and sure enough when Benteke joined Wickham on the treatment table we were.
