And London to Liverpool is even quicker.

Ha, yes that's slightly more pertinent.

Optimistic as ever

Oddly enough the train times between Liverpool and Newcastle are the same as from London to Newcastle.

Daft thread though.

worth a chuckle, thanks

School, SN.Juniors, SN High, Selhurst. 1st match 1972 CP 2 N. Utd 1. Thank you, John Jackson and Vince Hilair for brightening our darkest days. I moved to the west country in 1983. Always Proud and 'Glad All Over' to be a Palace Fan. ))

Sadly there is no direct airline service to London from Liverpool.
It would save me a load of time if there were - getting to Palace on match days now I live near Liverpool is time consuming.
I left at 9.30am last Saturday and arrived at 3.30pm. A load of hassle and missed the start ... and then wished I hadn't bothered!

Every cloud has a silver lining (i.e. you only had to suffer 60 minutes)!

Palace since 19 August 1972. Palace 1 (Tony Taylor) Liverpool 1 (Emlyn Hughes)
