Blame not having cover for Souare in August 2016 as much as you like but criticising parish and Sam for buying 2 left backs just makes people look like they don't understand or have started supporting us 3 months ago. We will have a similar issue next season. Ward isn't getting any younger or better and Mensah is likely to have gone.

I think you quoted stoke as an example previously in this post, stoke have now had 10 years in the PL, the y had the same manager for the 1st 5 years and already had a brand new stadium. not to mention owned by one of the world biggest bookmakers. we are not punching at their weight yet.

The way I see it, the majority of fans are patient. The impatient fans will always be the ones who air their opinions quickest and the loudest. Also, you can't really judge based on this forum

Agree next summer we could be looking at a very long shopping list, with any luck and we're due some we can bring some youth through but reality is. And sorry if I'm mistaken or wrong but won't the following players all be out of contract: Ward That's potentially two right backs and three central midfielders all leaving in the same window... Having a manager that can work with kids, maybe doesn't seem like such a crazy idea...

West Ham and Snodgrass, signed for £10 million in 2017 and loaned to Aston Villa a few months later. These is clear profligacy and Parish would be crucified if he did the same thing. I am not saying that Parish is perfect, but I would sooner have him than many of the other Chairmen that we have had in my time supporting Palace. That is where a lot of posters on here do their "scouting"
