So this board was set up to discuss the UK press? Really?

First of all, I have no interest in reading what the Daily S*ite or the Sh*te on Sunday have to say about anything whatsoever.

Secondly, have people forgotten that the media have never shown themselves to be on our side?

Apparently discussing matters in the press relating to CPFC is allowed. FFS eh, next they'll be allowing women on here.

I don't know if it is just me, but whenever I got coached playing football, it was the managers who had a bit of charisma and charm that got the message across best of all. You could be a tactical genius but if half the players are asleep during your delivery, you've got no chance. I didn't want FdB in the first place ( I was a Dyche man) because I didn't think the Pardew experiment of more possession football worked but I thought give FDB a chance cos it might work with a better manager . However when I listened to his pressers I thought, Jesus how could you've inspired by him. I'm afraid that Hodgson gives me the same "want to turn him off" feeling. I felt it all through his England tenure and look what happened there.

has resisted writing a single post on the Ross McCormack thread !!!

I'm amazed how Arsene Wenger got anywhere. His voice puts me to sleep so quickly I have to put the radio off if he comes on when I'm driving.

Hodgson couldn't get a very good squad of England players looking like a coherent, well drilled team so why would we want him anywhere near our club?

The world has moved on from the days he had some success - his .time has been & gone.

Will this be five? It's gonna be five! It IS five!

Totally agree.

Also I must say that FDB appears one of the least engaging and boring managers when appearing ion front of the cameras.

give a manager more than 3 games what we going to do give Roy 5 games .Parish & the Americans took on Frank because he was going to change the style of play and in time stop been down the wrong end of the table and every year just staying up it takes time to weed out players who can only play one way and cant pass the ball and some who are just not good enough. Parish and the board gave contracts to Johnny Williams and Delaney one is finished the other is championship also we paid crazy wages to mutch and Sakho from wolves and are now stuck with these so these so called supporters should instead of picking holes in a manager here for 3 games look elsewhere .

I am not saying Frank is the answer to our problems but give him so time

3 of the best Mangers from different eras off the top of my head are Alex Ferguson, Brian Clough and Jose Mourinho. All 3 have charisma and can captivate an audience. I imagine players sitting on the edge of their seats staring intently at these 3 delivering the most basic of team talks, whereas Frank is probably boring the pants off our players.

Of course a lot of it is tactics and training and fitness. You'd hope that makes up most of it but that is why you buy world class coaches and equipment. The manager has to galvinise and make players try their hardest for the shirt and team.

Mourinho played in the charity football game for Grenfall Tower yesterday and was immediately the pantomime villain. Commentators couldn't stop talking about him, crowd were booing and cheering and I wasn't planning on watching the whole game but I stayed to watch him in goal for penalties.

A pointless rant you might say but I bet if De Boer played no one would give a damn. He wouldn't keep you interested, he wouldn't be talk of the town.

Look at our more successful Managers like Warnock and Holloway for the Championship and Pulis and Allardyce for the Prem. They all have character they all have a presence.

We wouldn't like to admit it now but Pulis could sell baseball caps to the thousands. He'd have that sort of affect on fans and your life that translates to the dressing room.

Sam saying after Sunderland that the players need to listen to him as they currently aren't, you felt a bit fearful for some of the players, again they'd of been feeling this first hand and immediately turned it around.

Fergie and his famous hair dryer but then also being like a grandad to the likes of Giggs and Scholes. I could go on but I'm boring so I won't!

Roy is unfortunately in the same bracket as Frank. Although I think he'd have slightly more success because he'd at least play a familiar formation. However, i personally don't think it would be enough to keep us up. We need a Sam, we need a Dyche, we need a Pulis.
