rikz, thanks for the compliment. I also take notice and read your palace posts. What is surprising on here is when you disagree with someone or some people for quite a while and then circumstances at the club change and your opinions become closer than you thought they could.

With regards to the dyslexia, I don't think Zaha oh yes is dyslexic. There is one or 2 on hol who I think are, who I won't name, and have I said a thing? No.

With regards to being a knob, well, that would be fair if correcting people in person. And there are a few people who, if I did correct, wouldn't lash out, or if they did, it wouldn't get them very far. There are also some who you'd possibly think may not be communicators, yet they are, because they had to be, so wanted to be.

What I'm saying is, this is like an anonymous piece of help. The helpee nobody knows so it could just be taken as valuable advice in using their own language correctly. But if it isn't taken in that way then they're welcome to continue using incorrect words for the rest of their lives. It's really not something to cling onto with any pride. The older you get the more you realise. Some of the most violent and selfish criminals who have never valued society come to this conclusion, and are glad they have, and say they are better for it.

Good luck whichever.

You have certainly brightened up, yet another dreary thread of the unimaginative posts saying the same thing over and over again.
I support your vigilance of using correct spelling and grammar. Those who don't, just aren't taken seriously by most people.

I believe Sam when he says he doesn't want to fight fires anymore. If a mid level club like Stoke, WBA or Southampton cames in for him, and weren't struggling then he might be tempted

I don't but time will tell. if you were a club like that you wouldn't go for Sam. so he's either really retired or he'll do what I say (in my opinion, which could be totally wrong). and the things he says...they don't sound like a man who's fully out.

If you want to live in a world full of kindness, respect and love, try to show these qualities.

What do you honestly think Benitez would make of our transfer strategy?

He could still easily suffer from dyslexia, it doesn't make you a complete moron.

If it was pure laziness and someone who blatantly couldn't be bothered then fair enough but you can quite clearly see the guy can read and write from the rest of his post, could of been a typo, could of been on his phone typing so quick it auto corrected to that, might not know the difference or constantly gets confused between the two,a sign of being dyslexic.

We both know the other poster wasn't trying to help him out, was just being a complete knob who didn't agree and just found it easier to try and ridicule his spelling.

It could HAVE been a typo

God, I hope Palace stick with Frank d B. This is the one good chance to make Palace a new type of club, not the seasonal point chasing desperadoes. Palace may have to go backwards to achieve this, but isn't that better than more seasons of mindless spending to end up doing next season what we did last season?
Parrish is setting a course for real change and that will take time, if it is worth it. It's a gamble whether Palace stay up, but it isnt a gamble that if Palace continue along this path the club will become a good, standard EPL member.
Should Palace be forward thinking or just relapse, as so many other clubs? Imagine a few years hence, a team of Palace youngsters collecting points anywhere in the land by just playing good, modern football. It needn't be a dream, but a nightmare ensues otherwise with the likes of the backward looking fat bloke or others alike.

Really? I think FdB needs more time and I said before the season started that if we survive this season he can do good things and needs at least 3 transfer windows.

But...

To say this is the one good chance for us to not be "seasonal point chasing desperadoes", whatever that means, is disingenuous!

Had Pulis stayed with the club we'd be a safe mid-table team.

Had Allardyce stayed with the club we'd be a safe mid-table team.

Had Pardew stayed with the club... Okay, I've gone too far now but his first 12 months were great and we'd have been top 8 if that was a season. But it wasn't so we can discount Pardew.

My point is we've had other opportunities to become a safe mid-table team. Our first two seasons we finished safely in mid-table, thanks to Pulis and Pardew.

Frank de Boer is no more the knight in shining armour than any other manager we're had post Holloway, except for Warnock who had no preparation for the season when he was appointed.

As for our youngsters playing good modern football. We need to find them first because it seems the ones we have are not good enough. Boateng let go, Anderson loaned out when we have no back up striker, Williams loaned out again.

Our academy is rated below Millwall's and Charlton's because since Jordan was removed by administration it has been under funded and not kept up with the rest.

I believe we have a category b while the other two local clubs have category a.

Who was the last academy player to make more than 10 appearances for the senior team? Johnny Williams in 2011. That says everything we need to know!

This isn't updated since April but this is quite telling.
