For those "new" fans, you only have to go back to the start of the 2013-14 season.
Played 10 - lost 9 - points 3.
Finished 11th.
Lets just back the team and the manager on Sunday and hope they grind out a draw. I certainly will be there and definitely no booing. Just please don't play Scott Dann at centre forward.

You have to give the guy a chance. He has tried 3-4-3 and it hasn't worked so far. 4-3-3 or 4-5-1 on Sunday please. Hopefully a better performance and a point or 3 and then the pressure will lift a little.

But the problem seems to be more off field stuff, I don't believe he would be close to the sack if it was just results.

Yeah, we lost 7 on the trot. One of those was a 4-1 at home to Fulham where we were treated to the best goal I have ever seen live

I accept the argument regarding the abject start to the 2013-14 season but some "New fans" might point to the fact that it did take a change of manager to revive our fortunes.

Which saw Holloway quit and Pulis come in to guide us to safety. I'd be happy with the same type of scenario.

But that was after ten games not three.!

I'd be happy that after 10 games with no change in results there was a change in personnel. But after 3-4? No thanks.

Yes I accept this.

Just trying to think about the mindset of the so called "New fans".
Some clearly want FDB out straight away and they might argue that a change would be beneficial as it was in 2013-14.

Danny Butterfield would say why not?

It not just new fans, while I accept that it's hard to change philosophy in 3 or 4 games. It's a result based business and we had a terrible start under Holloway but pulis needed to average something like 1.3 pts per match hence winning him manager of the year. If it's not working now and Sunday will be a big indication. He has had 2 weeks to work on a 433 that our players are more comfortable with. We can't expect to beat the likes of Liverpool, Chelsea every season, making up for our short falls at home. I want FDB to succeed but I think parish has his mind 85% made up imo. When talk of takeover rumours, parish was quick to dismiss on social media. Now a manager that him and the board took 6 weeks to appoint, hasn't been publicly backed by the person that handed him a 3 year deal is a disgrace imo.

It would be somewhat strange for a Chairman to issue a statement backing his manager after the new man at the helm has only had 3 games in the 'Chair'.
