On this date one year ago, we registered our first win of the season vs Boro, having picked up 1 point from a very poor first 3 games. Here's hoping for a repeat...

Palace: Hennessey, Ward, Dann, Fosu-Mensah, Schlupp, Puncheon, Cabaye, McArthur, Lee, Townsend, Benteke.

Subs: Speroni, Van Aanholt, Milivojevic, Kelly, Lumeka, Kaikai, Riedewald.

Burnley: Heaton, Lowton, Tarkowski, Mee, Brady, Defour, Cork, Gudmundsson, Ward, Wood, Vokes.

Subs: Pope, Walters, Barnes, Arfield, Westwood, Bardsley, Long.

A big blow not to have Loftus-Cheek, who is apparently near fitness. But that's an obvious back 4 (hooray), with Cabaye and Lee, who both did a decent job after coming on against Swansea, given opportunities.

No Loftus-Cheek or Tomkins, yet Puncheon starts again and Luka is on the bench! Deluded.

Lumeka, by the way, is Levi Lumeka, an attacking midfielder who can play up front. Here is his description from the Palace site (his bio has recently been moved from the U23 page to the first team page, and he's listed under 'forwards'):

After finishing top scorer for the academy side in 2015/16, Lumeka repeated the feat with the development side last term despite also spending time continuing to hone his skills with the under-18s. The pacy attacking midfielder is also strong on the ball, meaning he is capable of playing on the wing or up front as a striker.

2016/17 stats:

U23s - 18 appearances, 6 goals
U18s - 8 appearances, 5 goals

He said everyone was fit except Wickham and Zaha. Then he picks that team? How are Joel Ward and Puncheon still playing for us, its baffling. And Lee comes in to add some steel to the midfield? Luka benched, what is going on here.

Trump lost. Badly. Hahahahahahaha.

That first 11 and bench don't look good.

Hopefully we can nick a draw and get our first point....

After seeing Punch & Ward included, RLC & Luka on the bench I think Burnley gonna roll all over us.....

Luka on the bench?! Disaster waiting to happen....

"Look at that. Accident blackspot? These aren't accidents! They're throwing themselves into the road gladly! Throwing themselves into the road to escape all this hideousness!"

Agree haven't we seen already last season that Cabye and Mcarthur doesn't work
