Agree completely. We are too one dimensional up front and that is due to investment. We have no other options.

Agree. Even with Campbell and Remy we had something. No excuses not to have gotten at least one replacement for them in the transfer window, even a season loan. The likes of Tammy Abraham spring to mind. Seems to me we have nobody in the youths at his level at the moment. Infact we have no striker that looks ready at a Championship level to make the step up. Leaving it to the last minute also risky. Remember Bendtner ? No doubt a free agent will join this week but why not 2 weeks ago ? I do feel we need to get a lot more savvy and certainly up to speed. We seem to be in our own slow time frame.

I feel we will be adding a free agent striker this week...

Most certainly not European.

PARISH, you f***ed up the window so don't panic now and sack Frank.

We were much the better side today with players to come back and Sakho - I saw green shoots today. We controlled the game for long periods and did start to knock the ball around with some good first time passing.

As the Turkish striker said...if Palace hadnt waited so long he'd have signed

Exactly right .
SP and the board need to move on now and sell to someone who is a multi millionaire .

I don't understand all the support for FdB.

All he did today was play a formation every man and his dog knew was the right decision and we had to lose three on the trot for that.

A good manager with real tactical insight would have dropped Puncheon and not have played Lee, would be working with the chairman to identify much needed transfer targets, could motivate his players & would have identified an effective strategic direction for the team and approach to individual games. Playing the right formation is something my mum could do.

When Wilf, RLC and Sakho are fit we will be a different proposition entirely in that formation and I'm neither for or against sacking FdB at the moment, he does seem pointless as a manager but other options aren't that attractive but this club is currently a laughing stock in football.

Ahhh f*** it then let's get your mum in and give her a. crack .......Steve give his mum a call ffs

The performance today didn't warrant a sacking. We deserved the points or at least a point. Unfortunately for FDB, he created his own last chance saloon before today which really wasn't necessary. And we didn't win. So I think that will be his lot.

If we had signed Sakho earlier in the window he would have been fit to play today.

The lifeline for FdB is the fact that we have Soton next week, albeit at home. They had a shocker yesterday and last season at Selhurst managed to keep Pards in a job for a while. Like Pards though think it will be a stay of execution. If we lose he may well be gone by the 3pm kick offs.

Unfortunately, we did not create enough chances and the few we had ... we didn't put them away. Seen nothing yet to indicate that it's going to get better in the short-term. Four matches down with nothing to show and we have ManU, ManC and Chelsea upcoming to rub our noses in the deep $hite. Forget Southampton too ... that's another home defeat.

Yeah your right we only had 24 shot today we need at least that per half before we will even look like scoring

Pretty certain that his recovery has little to do with when he signed.
