But what reference would you give to frank De Boere?

Surely he was doing a good job. No manager can produce instant results can they?

That's my reading of it. Parish didn't sound like he was ready to sack going by his tweets.

I reckon the yanks had a big say it.

In SP we trust

It seems either slag Parish off, or slag de boer off, while the usa investors go about their merry business. Steve Parish is not the sole decision maker at CPFC, many don't seem to realise this..

Does he get a settlement fee for early termination of his contract? It almost incentivises being sh8t doesn't it? If my job paid me off for f**king everything up I'd spend even more time on this forum.

I agree, I think it may have been the americans who got SP to sack Pardew too which was the right thing to do but this is not. Who knows what goes on behind the scenes, I am very disappointed and embarrassed about this but we have lived through worse. Roy Hodgson is probably a safe pair of hands, very experienced at club level so maybe we will be singing his praises soon but FdB could have come good and we will never know.

Yep, should've monitored Frank game by game. More fvcking about and sack him, but more of yesterday and persevere unless the zero points and goals goes on and on and on.

I have to say this decision skinks but it looks as though it was pushed through by Harris and Blitzer.

It probably didn't make a difference what SP said in defence of FDB their minds were made up he was going!

Most fans I believe are now totally disgusted in the manner of FDB's 'parting company' especially after yesterdays dramatic improved overall performance.

What good has this done our club to tell everyone initially that we wish to change our philosophy and culture, build up our academy, play a different style of football and that's it's going to take time to fully evolve.
Call it a 'project' and take ages to hire the right man in the first place to lead it, not give him enough say on transfer policy and then only give him a short tenure. Complete shambles!

So from being forward thinking and having a project we now want to look backwards with a 70 year old!
Are we progressing are we F*c* !

Putting the mistake to one side, it's not that he picked Lee, it's that he played him on the left and Townsend on the right. What was our problem in the 2nd half v Swansea? Ward at LB and lack of supply in the box. Same cr&ppy supply yesterday. Dozens of crosses, about 3 successful.

you could say puncheon on the left but he's hardly getting much praise or PVA and Schlupp but PVA's been shyte this season, although as a LWB.

Yes but the best two crosses both came from Townsend who looked good on the right...Townsend does perform better on the right and I think playing him there was the right decision.

THIS is worth absorbing as being probably the case. Harris and Blitzer probably forced Parish's hand - I wonder if the former even saw yesterday's match.

Anyway, we are the laughing stock of the game now.
