I think it's a bit harsh that he didn't have a chance to have some games with zaha and sacko playing in team they are both massive players. He's had some pretty hard luck I think. Shame.

Sacko....Good job he's playing in England....he could never get a job aboard.

I thank Mr Parish for saving us and it has been an interesting journey since, but time to go back to basics.
We are Palace and I for one want us to keep our Identity.
I feel we have lost some of what makes us one hell of Club.
Mr Parish is chasing a dream that tbh isn't achievable.
He has just got carried away, but it hurts as we all watch things unravelling and the Club look rather a mess.

Strange decision, why appoint him in the first place if your not going to fully back him. But to say he's a s*** chairman is ridiculous, he's transformed the club from a s*** club in south London to an established premier league side. To say he's a lucky chairmen is moronic, I guess he was lucky with the appointment of Dougie Freedman, then the appointment of Ian Holloway who got us promoted, then got lucky for 5 years keeping us in the league.

we are not yet an established Premier league side as we will all find out at the end of the season.

Agreed.
These developments have made us the basket case of football and apparently, relegation favourites.
So many rumours regarding back stabbing and telling tales to 'head teacher' SP as reported in the Independent, just do not know what to believe.

Something is rotten here.

Spent a huge chunk of 2016 with the worst record of any English league club, only to be dragged out of the mire by BS at considerable expense.

Then lurch to the most dismal top flight opening for 92 years, accompanied the record for binning the manager after fewest games.

Makes my skin crawl.

I am a great supporter of Parish but de boer really did not stand a chance and that is partly the boards fault.

It is sad that they were left with little option but to dispense with de boer. Still cannot understand how you buy big in January bring in Allardyce players and expect them to play like Barcelona 6 months later.

Parish seemed to go for a complete change rather than gradual evolution. De boer made a huge statement of changing the style but still had most of the players that struggled when Pardew tried to be more expansive. We also looked like we were criticising the players who beat Chelsea etc by saying they were not playing proper football. I was at the games at the end of the season particularly memorable was Arsenal where Luca was immense.

I really have no idea what the board want from the next manager and that could mean free fall. However, Parish definitely wants better for the club and will try something different because he could see it was not working at Palace. Should he have appointed de boer - clearly he thinks he should not.

Yep , a lot of people are to blind to see that de boer had been useless behind the scenes. And the results have shown this. He's been Naive, stubborn and out of his depth.

FANTASTIC he sacked him
Everyone knows Ive bored them to death that I wanted him sacked after the Huddersfield game
Great player
Terrible manager
In hindsight very very naive for the board to appoint him
I wanted Dyche at the time , if Sam didn't return , but will back Hodgson to keep us up and finish mid table
We would have been 100% relegated with FDB

I feel so utterly utterly sorry for Frank de Boer today. He has been totally let down by Crystal Palace FC and the three stooges who are running the show at the minute.
Did I hear wrong or was it Parish the said about De Boer at his unvielling as manager "This bloke knows more about football than I ever will"? Well Stevie boy you were f***in right on that score because you fella know diddly squat about the game as I see it!
You were the bloke banging on about a change of style, more attractive football etc etc and you mate went and hired Frank and when he tries to impliment your brand of play you hang the poor sod out to dry along with your American friends.
Then we come to the poor little players who thought Frank De Boer was hired to be their best friends and massage their fragile little ego's for them the little luvs. But oh no! Frank has them at it from day one, laying down what he and Parish want, style, formation changes and they go into a sulk....."f*** me I can't do that, let me go and see Mr Parish and tell him I don't like the new bloke so I won't play for him, he keeps telling me off for being a useless c***.

Low and behold Parish has a panic attack along with Harris and Blitzcreig and bosh Frank gets the blame for the f***in lot of them. Utterly shameful bunch of lilly livered c***s every last one who know sod all about football.Whats the bloke supposed to do when his best three players are out injured and the marvellous money men do nowt to find back ups.
Anyone with amodicum of football knowledge who saw the game yesterday saw a team not far off turning it all around. With the injured boys back in that team would have won games no problem under De Boer and I for one am ashamed at the way the club have s*** on him from one great height.

______________

I really could not agree more.great post and sitting here knowing that Frank would have moved the club forwards.Short sighted.......four f**king Games...... Like giving my new head teacher two months to turn us into an outstanding school.... Unbelf**ckingievable

God, it makes me so angry....I am gonna find a little bloke... I'm gonna have a fight!
