Just out of interest.

Have any of the stattos worked out a redrawn PL table starting with Roy's first game in charge?

e.g. obliterating those first 5 (FDB) games from the table altogether?

Where would we be?

It's pure indulgence of course but after a 5-0 win and almost certain PL survival we are entitled to a bit of indulgence.
Got up at 5.30am this morning for a nervous pee and with much trepidation decided to take a look at the footie results. Been a long time since we've seen a score like that - AND in our favour too!! :-)

Oh come on

Like history has never worked like that ever.

Not that’ll it’ll happen ever but it’s never impossible

Regarding manager of the season.

Pep - look at the quality of his squad and the money spent - it's not too hard to win a race in a F1 car.

Dyche - done exceptionally well - but he built his team and they hit their stride - it's fair to say other teams under performed (west ham, southampton, everton) which may have elevated their position, but make no mistake they deserve to be there and had some nice scalps.

Hodgson - inherited a squad that had a piss poor pre season, the worse start in history and key players out for long periods that on top of that were not sure what was expected of them going from Pulis to Pardew to Big Sam. He got them playing his way, he got results, he was a true gent along the way and he bought our flavour back to the club.

We're a passionate, hard working south london club. Stick to that and we'll be just fine.

First class
From your first press conference
" well fortunately teams don't go up and down in September "
To today , where you stayed balanced throughout and got the team playing in a way that could well have yielded ten more points than we have .
A nod also to Big Sam , who brought in Luka and Sakho and quite honestly those two are giants for us . Especially Luka , who not only is a class player but a class act as a man .
Well done Palace
You finally buried the disaster of what was FDB.

"on my third helping of humble pie"!!!!!

When Roy was first appointed, the only pundits to give us a chance of any survival under RH was the Danny Murphy - "WELL SAID SIR"

WELL DONE TO ROY AND TEAM.

Up the palace.

I thought he was a bland, uninspiring choice that showed a distinct lack of ambition or imagination. Good job I'm not in charge! He's been superb and we're lucky to have him.

Why, are we opening an equestrian centre now?
