For me, the real issue is leadership on the pitch. As stated by parish last night when we finished eleventh - we didn't have a squad as good as it is now. however, look at the differences in leaders

I can't name one player involved in the match day squad with leadership qualities. Sooner we get mama Sakho in the better.

Regardless of talent it appears to me that team spirit and a good work ethic i.e. Cameron Jerome; competes far more in the premier league than talent alone, and the first two years back in the top flight is evidence of this - 10th and 11th finishes. To me it is clear we need a mix of leaders and exciting talented individuals to stop the rot.
