I love Puncheon. I love everything about him except the football part. Last few games I have watched him like a hawk and I have noticed that all wont attempt anything, he wont put a ball in or take a chance, but he will try to set other people up to do it. Its so frustrating to watch because you just shout at the tv for him to do something dynamic, just put a cross in, take a shot, beat a defender, anything will do...then he plays a simple ball to another player who might... Does that make him a bad footballer? Not really and seeing the rest of the team give the ball away taking a badly calculated risk is probably more frustrating but I wish he would learn from someone like Cabaye. Take a chance, it probably wont work but a bit of a lucky bounce and it might land at Bentekes head or Zahas feet. He just keeps possession. Which makes it even worse if he misplaces it. As for communication, sure he talks, but so does Cabaye, Sakho, Milo and Wayne. That does make a good candidate for captain, but more important is leading by example and taking a game by the scruff of the neck and trying to make something happen. Every fault he has is lack of confidence. We have too much talent that can do his job...

KG was a key part of our promotion when fit he was very good when fat he was poor i wonder if Sako is the same one day he may be fit again and we can find out.

How about not getting tackled all the time and passing the ball to one of his own team? That would be a 75% improvement

Supported Palace for over 69 years since the age of 7 and have seen all the ups and downs and will probably see many more ups and downs before I go up to the big football club in the sky. |

Yep, we've got four quality players for three positions. No way Punch should be on the pitch if any three of Cabaye, Luka, McArthur or RLC are fit. Hopefully Woy will surprise us all and pick our strongest players for the starting XI. AND play them in their right positions?
