If true that the likes of Delaney, Kelly, Lee and Ward have played some part in this then it's even worse because frankly 3 of them shouldn't even be at the club anymore. What a sorry mess.

I agree, id say all of them shouldn't be anywhere near a premier league squad but they are and rightly or wrongly players these days hold all the power. I feel a bit sorry for De boer but at the end of the day, man management is one of the key attributes of being a great manager, if he was that good he could of kept them sweet untill getting them out the club.

Because Parish has obviously never played a game of football, at any level, in his life. Simples

If some of the players don't like it because the manager shows off a few skills and was better than them they need to get a grip. Pathetic.

De Boer did look a proper tool when he was doing the press ups on twitter mind.

Clearly relationships weren't right. The posts about this being more than performance based and reports backing them up seem to make sense.

I think I am over anger now and moved on to disappointment.
Against Burnley I could see some shoots of promise in the passing and moving. Andros especially looked good.
Our one great strength is our geography and the ability to tap into a large base of talent. FDB seemed the man to get the academy working, his faith in RLC, TFM, Reidewald and Levi seemed to prove he had the courage to bring us forward.
De Boer seemed to handle himself with dignity and courage (perhaps his own courage comment aside) in the face of a very average transfer window (that could have been his fault)
There have been some massive disappointments before Harry Bassett and Neil Warnock come to mind. I have always believed in Parish and no doubt there is more to this, but at the moment I would trade him, the useless Americans, the crap shirt sponsor for any hint of forward progress. Oh good, I am back to anger.

You could reverse the question.

FdB calling our players "cowards" in his press interview after the Swansea game, was never going to make him popular in the changing room with any professional footballer.
Typical Dutch Manager re living the past success of Holland years ago, but forgetting they are absolute s*** these days.
Ajax would struggle these days playing in a full season in our Championship.
FdB second rate manager, not the one for Palace

FDB turned out to be a bit of a c*nt. SP couldn't have really accounted for that. Simple really.

Delaney appears to be a bit of a trouble maker as he has made known in the past that he didn't like certain players including Glen Murray and it wouldn't surprise me if he was the team's shop steward.

Kelly apparently didn't like being told that he wasn't good enough but that's something that most HOLers have been saying for ages and reading between the lines de Boer would have unloaded him in the transfer window but Parish interfered and wouldn't sell him.

Ward allegedly didn't like being told to sit out a training session so that he could watch from the sidelines how a wingback should play. The only word that springs to mind is "diddums"

de Boer was supposed to be a football club manager not a nursemaid to highly paid prima donnas so Parish needs to make sure that the job specification for the new manager includes the fact that the person needs to be an experienced mummy

I wonder if Victor Moses fell out with Conte when he was asked to play as a wing back

Nobody comes out of this very well. It's been a car crash from the summer and from what I've been told, combined with reading between the lines it went like this.

1. In May Parish met Big Sam to discuss transfers only to be left stunned at Sam wanting to leave.

2. Immediately the board made contact with Marco Silva who was making noises to force Watford's hand. We were keen but Watford had made strides in securing silva. It was never an option.

3. Pellegrino was then our number 1 choice. He had a great interview, was a good fit and worked with Sammy Lee before. The board wanted to appoint him but he was waiting on Southampton offer.

4. Dyche agent was keen for talks but palace had their man in Pellegrino. Meanwhile, FDB's agent made his move.

5. Parish set up interview and was impressed with the Dutchman who claimed he'd alter our playing style over time. Despite being impressed Pellegrino was first choice.

6. Pellegrino went to Southampton. Time was ticking and a decision had to be made.

7. FDB appointed.

8. Immediately FDB ripped up system and started working on 343. The players weren't comfortable. Training sessions saw u23 beat first team time and again. FDB could not understand why professional footballers couldn't understand his system and started alienating key individuals, including Joel ward who he said he'd sell on the Friday and then played him wing back against Huddersfield the following day, despite playing Townsend there in all pre-season games. Other players were getting restless too. FDB's relationship with Luka completely broke down.

9. Board massively concerned after Huddersfield defeat. FDB promised to go to a back four at home to Swansea. Training before the game suggested so until he went 343 last minute much to the exasperation of players and board.

10. During transfer negotiations FDB went missing and was completely clueless. Dougie Freedman appointed to help on that score.

11. After meeting Dougie and Parish FDB offered no assurances about playing style. Knowing he was in a vulnerable position he went to 433 at Burnley and despite losing the team played better. This only infuriated the board further as it was clear had FDB promised to deliver what he said in the summer we wouldn't be in this mess. Parish and board decided it wasn't going to work and sacked him.

It looked like de Boer had pardewed Milivojevic before a ball was even kicked and was well on his way to pardewing Ward and Kelly. He then proceeded to start Lee on Sunday when both Milivojevic (presumably) and van Aanholt were available, and has thrown players under the 'bus after each game. We can then add to that the fact that he was playing the wrong style in contradiction to discussions he had with the Board, which even if it had worked would still have been a breach of trust.

I subscribe to the view that as well as getting nulle points in four games he has also upset the apple cart by behaving like a t**t.

Which is obviously the real reason why he is out on his arse.
