De Boer totally ballsed a really good playet up It is de Boer's treatment of Milivojevic more than anything that comvinces me he (de Boer) is a muppet. Spent the whole pre-season playing him in friendlies as a defender when there was absolutely no likely need to play him there and when it was obvious that it was pi**ing him off. Milovojevic was returned to defensive midfield but immediately clear that de Boer wasn't getting the best from him and then dropped him in favour of Lee, who proceeded to give one of the worst personal performances in Palace history. Clear evidence that he was likely to ruin the squad and out-Pardew Pardew.

Welcome, Roy. It seems appropriate for someone with his experience and affinity to Croydon and Palace to be joining us at such a challenging time. The 4/5 weeks since the start of the season has been a shambles. I hate seeing Palace making the football headlines for all the wrong reasons. I think Roy is just the right person to get us out of this muddle and get us in the football headlines for the right reasons. COYP!

Similar age to Bobby Robson when he had a few good seasons at Newcastle. Difficult time for him to come in but think he could do well for us. Welcome Mr Hodgson. COYP !!
