Just imagine if Frank was England manager, put in a performance like that and then said he was satisfied with it and came to Palace.

He would get absolutely annihilated.

its a mess isnt it? a shambles, a sorry state of affairs

Originally posted by Bin Liner Crappello has won more silverware in his career than Woy could have won in a hundred lifetimes, the problem is with that interview he did not once address the issues of the EC debacle or the 2014 WC, that's what worried me, the silly old fool clearly has lost it.

A hundred lifetimes, really?

So instead of trying to support him you're not going to give him a chance to succeed, but will him to failure instead? Is it so you can say 'I told you so?' or something along those lines?

We are ALL pissed off enough with England, (hence why I'm carrying my other national flag...and Finland NEVER win ANYTHING) but that's got nothing to do with his current job where he trains the players everyday, unlike as National coach.

People are gonna beat him up over England, his age, his voice, his mannerisms, but how about us within the club ignore all the venomous BS and support him as best as we can?! Or is that not what we do as Palace supporters anymore??

I dont know how I feel at the moment, I'm quite confused with the direction the club is taking, the lack of a vision, foresight etc.

I am not interested in England ... that was months ago. If Roy was asked about that then the interviewer could have Googled the answers. It's old news and the interviewer has missed an opportunity to get some fresh information. Not interested in FDB either ... he's gone.

All you've done is post insulting bollocks about Hodgson. What did you want him to do in an interview in a new job, grovel for forgiveness because he lost against Iceland a year ago? He's here to manage Palace, sounds like he understands precisely what the job is here.

Sadly it is and now the ones who wrote Frank off before we kicked a ball in pre season are forcing the "be positive about Roy" stuff down everyone's throats. It's hilarious.

For what it's worth I'm not that opposed to Roy as manager and I think he probably can be the "safe pair of hands" many seek, at least for a year or 2. It's the way it's come about and the events of the last couple of days that I'm opposed to, all just a complete mess and serious questions now need to be asked of Parish in my opinion.

All well and good saying it's the yanks but he was the one to let them in and the buck or "busk" as Parish put it stops with him.

Who was writing him off?

And isn't that exactly what you and Liner are doing?

Many did, take a look back on the boards, twitter, BBS etc.

If you read the second paragraph where I said I'm not opposed to him being manager and that he can be a safe pair of hands then the answer is no it's not what I'm doing in the slightest. Am I happy we've ended up (unnecessarily in my opinion) here though? No chance

Coming out a grovelling to the Nation..is that what the most successful manager ever in club football would have done.. or would he have just told the BBC to stick it..?! Humility is all well and good, but could easily be seen as a weakness to pick at.

All this outrage by the vocal few is pretty pathetic and childish in my view, and now I think I'm doing the reverse of what I wanted and allowing you more oxygen to vent.

Move on and get behind him.
