Yes, they should...there could be a whole thread on why, the short reason is social cohesion, which I have written much on....skin colour has nothing to do with it. You should be ashamed to even bring that up. Stop being obsessed with things like skin colour.

How many times have I had to say this?.....I humbly ask you to stop doing it.

Ok, I will give you the benefit of the doubt on this my ethnocentric duelling partner IF you explain clearly which other BRITISH people/group, and how, would also be "encouraged" to immerse in our heritage -not sure how that would be implemented btw day trip to Hampton Court? - apart from those BRITISH people, say in their thirties, born here, as were their parents, with Asiatic and African ancestry.

Because it would be daft and prejudiced, and would lead to less social cohesion, so plainly self-defeating just targeting those folk, would it not?

What am I asking is Do all British people who share our ethnicity get a pass with 'heritage encouragement' and British people who don't don't?

Have you watched the video? Their debt levels are going down.....Normally I'd agree with you but western countries have a different set up it appears.

I don't know exactly why Japan are being successful...the government is buying its debt and then cancelling it.....Maybe someone here can explain why this isn't destroying them economically.

The Bank of Japan, much like the European Central Bank, OWN much of the economy(s) they run (many 'Remainers' appear to be oblivious to this FACT).
The problem begins when these monstrous institutions can no longer 'buy' with money (printed from thin-air), then who the hell can?

It's tabloid economics.

Economics is something I'd like to learn a lot more about....but I'm 48 now....So many other interesting things around.

Still, as the nips are buying up their debt and cancelling it but not suffering as a result....I'm at a loss to understand why not.....I can only surmise that their system must be different....perhaps some national collusion.

Whatever they are doing...it appears to be working for them.

I will answer you but tonight I just want to have a lazy evening in with my JD and coke.

As a lazy answer here's a video from Douglas Murray on multiculturalism.

1. I'm 49.

2. Until it goes 'pop'.

Economics is a fantastic subject as it affects each and every one of us and when you take the time to learn the more you'll realise that each and every one of us are being taken for bloody fools.
Possibly the most important subject(?) in life is ignored by the vast majority.

It baffles me why people don't ask themselves ''why am i worse off than nan and gramps'' tbh.

Have I tired of pointing out that the 'characters' you trot out to 'back up' your arguments, are clearly the product of fantasy? No.

Who is next? The Glaswegian rasta cousin? The Buddhist monk friend? I suspect it might be the reformed 'fascist' and you will enlighten us with why he turned his back on his past.

I love both you guys - but that was f***ing funny!

Anyway back to the thread title. I have and this was my favourite: [Link]

I like Kermy too....but that was inventive and funny.

I'm also a fan of Japan....now that sounds like a good title for a song.

I hadn't, why should he or I have?

Knowing about Poland, which is far closer, makes far more sense. We went to war after Poland was invaded and Poland is European and western, as are we.

Unless there is a purpose, outside of geographical educational knowledge, for someone to know about the name of a particular state in India then there isn't much point in highlighting it.

Unless you have a connection to India, then knowing much more than what the capital is isn't to be expected.

I know a bit more about India because I'm a cricket nut and due to our historical connection with India as I like history.... but I didn't know about that state.

You young people seem to have completely forgotten our heritage.

A jewel in the crown of our empire, Kerala is well known for almost universal literacy and its life expectancy.

It's an unusual and interesting place. I really am surprised you haven't heard of it.

I blame the bl@@dy teachers.

Anyway, why are you defending Hedgehog?

Wasn't following a particular argument I just responded to a post.

Hedge is a good poster, he don't need any back up from me.

As for teachers.....I'd love to teach history......Each lesson would start with the children coming in with Wagner's Ride of the Valkyries playing......At least it would wind Nick up.

I taught social studies at Ashburton. You could play them the 1812 Overture, still wouldn't wake them up.
