I responded "I seem to recall that when we had Sam Allardyce as manager we did lose to Swansea and Burnley"

You butted in to say "After 10 weeks+ planning he wouldn't have."

I responded "Sam became manager on 23rd December and we got beaten by Burnley on 29th April which according to my calculator is more than 10 weeks planning time"

You then tried to move the goalposts by pretending that you were arguing about something else.

As I said, I think that you just argue for the sake of it

Crossed wires then. I'm arguing with you and rattus because neither of you can see what is front of you. The bloke lied about 'gradual and results', got the job, lied again about 'gradual and results', lied some more we suit 3-4-3, kept lying, lost 4 league games to nil and is out on his &Arsenal and £2 mil richer.

That's it. You can't see it. God knows why. Don't want to probably.

Rudi has called me an odd character and a crackpot on another thread so don't take it personally. Seems he doesn't like you questioning his point of view.

There's no way anyone can really judge the situation, because none of us were involved and we don't know what will happen now. There were obviously problems from both sides. Even after nearly a week I still don't really know how to feel about it.

You can argue Parish made a mistake with the appointment, but at the same time FdB changed his tune almost immediately after he was appointed which was strange.

Does Parish meddle? Maybe, but at the same time weren't we all grateful when we changed to a back four? In which case maybe it was actually necessary for him to get involved?

The timing was weird yes, but it's so hard to judge. If we criticise Parish for the appointment, should we credit him for rectifying it? If he gave Pardew too long is it good he cut it short? Who knows, time will tell with our finishing position this season. If FDB couldn't work with these players, then maybe it is the right call to put the 'evolution' on hold, bring in some more 'expansive' players and then try again.

Frank talked about a long term plan, but their was little evidence of that. We spent it playing Luka and Ward in the back three and then changed it for the first game, and threw in a new player who'd barely met his team mates. Dann started the game next to two young players making their debut, one who had never played in England and one who had only just joined the club. In front of him we had Ward and Luka playing in completely different positions to those they had practiced. That woes a worrying sign, but then again after the Huddersfield game what really killed us was stupid individual errors, not bad tactics necessarily?

Employee of the month is a good example of how someone can be both a winner and a loser at the same time.

What has that got to do with "if we still had BFS as manager that we would have lost to Huddersfield, Swansea, or Burnley" which was what I was responding to.

It was you that decided to twist my response into something that we weren't discussing and if anyone "can't see it", it's you

Individual errors come from poor preparation. In anything. You can point the finger at individuals for making them but when it is a common occurrence then you have to start looking the training and drills leading up to it.

Oh look who cares about that cr&p anyway. Frank bullsh1tted his way in, his real intentions were bollox and ultimately lost him his job on top of his bullsh1t. If you're gutted so be it. I'd rather not have that in our club putting us at risk. You would, fair enough.

Like

Ward being discarded one day and selected the next.

Luka playing his 2nd game as a def mid v Liverpool since mid May.

Kelly being sent to the youngsters and then being called back in need for Swansea, only to fvck up.

That type of inspirational man management you mean? I reckon by the time November came he would've played every player on the back of the programme. All 40 odd of them.

I can't believe that we still have the Parish love in going on despite all the fcuk-ups he has made over the past few years with his appointments and transfer dealings. He is a total w***er, full of himself, We are in the process of seeing his lack of responsibility for anything coming across again, All the rumours (and remember they are just rumours) probably have a vein of truth but thats all. I am sure at some point the other side of the argument will come out.

I ask myself why is a businessman interfering in football affairs, Why is he on a big jolly on all the tours, He is not a footballing genius. I really hope he gets help in running the club before he puts it back where he picked it up from. I don't think he is good for the club, He is out of his depth big time

Rudi you have no idea what Frank said during the ridiculously long recruitment process. He is Frank De Boer - he has been around the block a bit and has worked with some top managers, and got the Inter Job on the back of a very good reputation as a player and coach alike. Parish got stars in his eyes thinking about Swansea and Southampton, and went out and hired a manager who made his name of playing patient possession style football, with strong technical players - perfect fit for Palace dont you think? What do you mean by his "real intentions"? Dont you think he wanted to be successful at this club and win games? On the flip side we can only guess at what Parish told FdB in the interview process, but I doubt it was - we wont sign a backup striker or keeper in the transfer window, and will fart around on Sakho until the last minute clouding and disrupting our ability to do other deals. I would rather look at the architect of this situation, Mr Parish. Its one thing to make a bit of a mistake after spending 33 days hiring a manager, but this is an absolute howler of epic proportions. If after all of this time, he can make a clanger like that, I dont really trust him to run the club tbh. What would I propose I hear you cry - I propose he finds a suitable buyer and sells up. I know De Boer didnt help himself but there is something rotten at the club and the way things are being done at the minute.

Trump lost. Badly. Hahahahahahaha.

What a crock of sh*t.

Hiring De Boer was a big mistake but not because of just footballing reasons. He was a knob who alienated coaches players and the clubs hierarchy. He was tactically unprepared for the PL season and played two 20 year old CBs with a handful of PL minutes between them on the opening day after ruining the confidence of loads of other players by insulting them and switching around their position every 5 minutes in preaseason.

Honestly Parish probably should have got rid in the Summer before the season started when he realised it was only a matter of time before their relationship deteriorated further. At least then these so called 'football experts' would be able to see that this didn't happen purely on footballing grounds.

SP made the mistake in hiring him, firing him certainly wasn't a mistake.

As for the other managers.

Allardyce wanted out of football for a while, if it was really a problem with SP, he was hardly likely to have had a cal asking him back.

Pardew did a great job for us and faded and was fired 6 months too late.

Pulls, I fear we will never know the true details with us but what's clear was that we won the court case and he was a money grabbing knobhead who took money in good faith then tried to do a runner.

Holloway, walked because he couldn't hack it, deserved his shot after getting us up.

Warnock, probably the best choice around at the time and didn't manage to harken back to the manager he once was.

That's our PL manager history. 5 years in the top flight with a cup final. We have some unbelievable players. Sakho, Zaha, Tekkers, Yohan. These are huge players. Our club is in the best position it's been in my lifetime after being minutes away from extinction. So excuse me for having a little faith in our chairman and ignoring the nonsense from those who were not there at Lloyds bank, who don't remember Sheffield Wednesday, or who were not at the play off final.

yes that's exactly what i mean. Somewhere along the line the team weren't being prepared for matches properly. Where the responsibility lies for that? Normally the manager.

Which play off final? Leicester? Sheffield United? Watford? Blackburn Rovers in the old two leg home and away format? Dont tell me what i can or cannot have a view on.
