It makes me wonder why we left FDB for Burnley - why not use the international break to get the new man in and a couple weeks practise.

If he was judged on the burnley performance, it was worthy of a pass... so, i dunno, we handled it all wrong.

Maybe SP had booked a weekend away during the international break? Nothing happens without him.

On points wasted ... on the day, Burnley looked the weakest opposition in all of the games we've played so far, so in my view, failure to score was not a pass.

Wow! So whenever a team is on a losing streak in the future it's called "Visiting the Palace"... OMG..

The bigger picture is the team played well, created chances, luck was not on our side that day.

So I'm saying he should have gone before burnley as it looks like they made their minds up!!

Have a read of this if you want a bit of hope if the worst happens and we lose the next 3 games:

[Link]

As mentioned, if the total to beat 18th place is 36 points, which going by the last 10 years it will be roughly, then that is 1.2 points per game which Pulis, Pardew and Allardyce all achieved.

It is all going to be about injuries. If our stars play in all of the 30 games, then I believe we have half a chance to stay up.
It is a huge shout, as our stars don't have a great fitness track record.
If we can just keep Sakho going and Zaha (when they are back of course!) then I believe we could do it.
This would need to be backed up with some serious strikers and attacking mids coming to us in January which again will be a tough shout, especially if we have broken away at the bottom.
I am seriously hoping we will only be 5 points down after the next three games.

It really looks as though we will have zero points after 8 games.
This means we will need something like 38-40 pts from 30 games to survive which in the circumstances will be a tall order.

9 wins (27)
11 draws (11)
10 defeats (0)
Total 30 games (3
Not a tall order at all if we can find some form. We certainly have the players.
I know it NEVER happens the way we expect, especially with Palace. There will be some we think we'll win but wont. Equally there will be some we don't think we have a cat in hells chance but go and win! But look at the following fixtures and tell me once confidence returns and we find a bit of form that we cant win these. If you really believe we cant win the following games you are following the wrong team.
West Ham (h)
Everton (h)
Stoke (h)
BHA
WBA
Bournemouth (h)
Burnley (h)
West Ham
Newcastle (h)
Huddersfield
Brighton (h)
Leicester (h)
That's actually 12 games I believe (on our day) we are capable of winning. I have not mentioned Watford (h), Saints , Bournemouth , Stoke and WBA (h) which are all also games that we have won before in the last couple of seasons so why not this?
Honestly, people pretend they understand the season is about the 34 remaining games not the next 3. Then in the next breath talk like its all over if we lose to Man City, Man U & Chelsea!
If we lose those games but see steady strong signs of improvement it will be far from over, trust me.
