The bigger picture is the team played well, created chances, luck was not on our side that day.

So I'm saying he should have gone before burnley as it looks like they made their minds up!!

Have a read of this if you want a bit of hope if the worst happens and we lose the next 3 games: [Link] As mentioned, if the total to beat 18th place is 36 points, which going by the last 10 years it will be roughly, then that is 1.2 points per game which Pulis, Pardew and Allardyce all achieved. As mentioned, if the total to beat 18th place is 36 points, which going by the last 10 years it will be roughly, then that is 1.2 points per game which Pulis, Pardew and Allardyce all achieved.

It is all going to be about injuries. If our stars play in all of the 30 games, then I believe we have half a chance to stay up. It is a huge shout, as our stars don't have a great fitness track record. If we can just keep Sakho going and Zaha (when they are back of course!) then I believe we could do it. This would need to be backed up with some serious strikers and attacking mids coming to us in January which again will be a tough shout, especially if we have broken away at the bottom. I am seriously hoping we will only be 5 points down after the next three games.

I know it NEVER happens the way we expect, especially with Palace. There will be some we think we'll win but wont. Equally there will be some we don't think we have a cat in hells chance but go and win!
