Didn't see MOTD,what did Shearer say.Thought Benteke did ok today with little help.Every time he won the ball,headed flick on or brought down with his chest there were s*d all players around to make use of his good work.No wonder he has lost his confidence when a chance eventually comes his way.Someone like Gayle is needed to feed off what Benteke can create.

I recall watching us play West Ham last season with Andy Carroll making one of rare appearances. Carroll was all over the park trying to get the ball whilst Benteke just strolled around waiting for someone to pass it to him.

I am still waiting to see Benteke score a goal, like he did for Villa against us? strong powerful run and a shot from outside the box.
Considering he is our 30m striker, he don't fill you with much confidence in front of goal. One of his chances yesterday should have ripped through the bloody net, instead it was feeble.
Everything is just going against us and we don't have the personnel to change it from the bench.
