You didn't spot our Johan strolling about ball watching on the edge of the area as Steven Davies left him, unmarked to knock it in on Saturday then? Underachieved for 2 years and coupled with Puncheon we lack pace and strength in the middle.

A few of us noted his lapse for their goal

Which is why Luka is needed, let Cabaye play in front of one or better still two DM's. The goal for me highlighted that Cabaye needs a DM behind him.

I just hope luka starts sat, can't believe he didn't start against Southampton, one of the first names in the team for me.

Reason he's not started is the fact he's been awful so far this season. I hope it was just some issuer with FDB

We are only an injury or two away from needing Riedewald to start depending on where he fits in the pecking order. It will be interesting to see across the course of the season who partners Sakho. I think We have signed a good player, but it to seen if he is a good fit.

At Man Citeh, Jairo and Luka would be a good pairing of defensive midfielders who might just be able to find Cabaye in pockets of space on the rare occasions we do pinch the ball back.

Jairo would add a little bit of extra support to whoever plays left back because we don't have a defensively strong left back. (Not that he's fabulous himself).

I expect us to lose this game, but I think it will be narrow and I think we will show a decent amount of threat. You just know Sakho's thinking how glorious it would be to march right in and lead us to an extraordinary result.

If you want to live in a world full of kindness, respect and love, try to show these qualities.
