Nor is the overall infrastructure.

Someone remind me again why Parish has been self-appointed Club custodian for all these last seven years? Well past his sell by date.

Is he? He's doing a f*** load better than any chairman I've ever seen in my 30 odd years supporting this club.

The bar was very, very low from 1991 onwards.

Before then Noades and Wait were doing a much better overall job on a budget of pennies. Bloye I won't talk about. Chunt.

Different world back then Kerms. SP has by far the hardest job of any chairman in our history, trying to operate in today's PL market. He's given us the longest sustained period in the top flight and yet we've got bellend fans who want to pull him up and demand an explanation from him and for him to resign!? f*** me we're still a PL club the last time I looked.
If they drive him out of the club, I will get a crew of militant Palace fans to hunt them down and make them explain their actions on the pitch to us all. Actions that could quite
Possibly see us end up like Charlton are now. That would be fun now wouldn't it.

I don't, and many others don't either, want him to resign but to lessen his role very significantly for the good and future direction of the club because let's face it he has lost the plot direction wise and it is obvious he doesn't have the ability to get us to a place he wishes/bullsh1ts about on or off the field.

Steve Paris - Chairman. No problem. Steve Parish - working Chairman. Problem.

What one can say is that we are in our 5th season in the PL which is a record for us and in all that time he has been Chairman.

Other chairmen didn't have £500mill plus to play with

Exactly Willo! I mentioned it on another thread, that it appears that people have become overwhelmed with negativity and that they can't actually see anything but bad. The good that Parish and his band of
Merry men have done for this club far far exceeds the bad. Yet all they can see is the bad. Which, let's be honest, is more than likely not even the boards fault. We have limitations as CPFC, and as far as I can see, we're pushing those limitations as far as we possibly can to make a go of us being an established PL club. We need to stop turning on SP and get behind him and push this project right til the end. Because he's the best chance we'll have in most of our lifetimes of becoming the established PL club that we all desire to be.

They didn't need £500 mill to play with. Where has the figure come from?

All he wanted direction wise was 6 more points more than last season.
Less stress.!!!
Let's be real here Palace are one of 13 clubs just trying to stay in this league.
We will never break into the Top 6.

If Steve Parish is hounded out, that will be it for me. After 57years I would give up any feeling for the club because the supporters who really are the life blood of the club would have gone bad.

I don't suppose the supports will hound him out. Donner and Blitzen might dump him though.

Looking for support on twitter, stating he'd prefer solutions rather than twitter rants from 16 year old keyboard warriors he's gone off about and yet ignore anything on hol or the BBS is probably not the smartest way.

He's another fan but has made some obvious decisions he's chanced our status with. If you keep repeating the same stuff that causes the same problems, you can't be surprised people aren't happy. But looking for support on twitter whilst treating people like fools with badly judged statements lacking credibility isn't the best way to go about it. The tweet about us never having it so good when many of his twitter young followers have faced falling real incomes, little chance of owning a home in the near future and fewer career prospects sounds more like a message to wind people up rather than be taken seriously.

Very little good comes from Twitter when you're in a position to be scrutinised.
