Trouble is by the time things do start looking up possibly,we're going to be cut adrift and are going to need 2 or 3 wins on the trot just to get off the bottom and that's going to be soul distroying for the players.

Parish has done this one season too many. We've got proper 'sh1t club' status now. You can fool some some of the time but not all all of the time. If I were a top PL player wanting European football and national selection I wouldn't touch this club with a barge pole. You think zero goals after 5 matches is Benteke's career plan? He'll be leaving too. Top players cannot trust this club to take them to the next level. Screw your optimism it's unrealistic.

You forgot all some of the time....
I think you'll find the Benteke's goal tally this season is not down to Steve Parish or FdB but his own inability to put the ball in the back of the net.

How long have you been a supporter? 2 days?

The team that started the last game pre-Parish included such top class international talent as Allesaine Ndiaye, Calvin Andrew and Matt Lawrence. We now have internationals on the bench, and a starting XI which could break the top 10 if it regains some confidence.

We are also Palace, a team who will regularly lose to the sh*ttest teams in the league before tonking the big boys. If you'd supported this club more than a few hours, you'd know that we're gonna win tomorrow. Go to the bank, remortgage your house and give it all in at the bookies.

We are Palace, and we do things the hard way. It can be bloody infuriating, but we also wouldn't have it any other way.

If you seriously think Parish has made us a 's*** team', go on to youtube and type in 'Crystal Palace vs scunthorpe, 2009'. May give you a bit of perspective.

If punk ever happened I'd be preaching the law, instead of listenin to Lydon lecture BBC4

Listening to Roy since he came and seeing what Fulham and WBA fans said about him and his methods (similar to Pulis) has got me more relaxed about us. Do well to get a point in the next 3 but it's small steps right now because of our situation this season. Try and keep the score below 3 and we'll have done well tomorrow. Think we could frustrate the rags and Chelsea more tbh.

we have the quality to get out of this s***, we just need to get through these b****** games

So what. We can do that. It's not really a biggie. The media is making much more of it than they need to.

We won't be out of touch by the time the next three games have been played. We'll then start to gather points and be fine.

I'd like to think that will be the case, and that, barring injuries, we have the players to do it. But, the question is, how shot will the team's confidence be if after 8 matches we have lost everyone game , and, possibly, still not scored a goal?

You can't just suddenly turn the confidence switch to positive. After these 3 difficult matches are over we will still be facing some good teams and they will be fully aware of our frailties and looking to exploit them.

I just hope that Roy will find a way of instilling and maintaining some some self-belief amongst the players during this current spell.

Pulis did after one win in the first 10.

I'm surprised we are not more cut adrift already. It gives me reason for hope. The Newcastle and West Ham games are going to be massive.

There's not many clubs playing well, many are flattering to deceive. Huddersfield only have beaten us and Newcastle, Swansea have only beaten us, Bournemouth have only beaten Brighton. West Ham have been crap, and only one win for Brighton.

A lack of goals is a concern. Hopefully, when one goes in we'll click.
