I knew we were going to end up 8 games in with no points, but it's hard to sit through these inevitable beatings.

Oh sorry. I meant to say Hennessey is a great keeper. One of the best in the Premiership, clearly. Try actually going to game mate.
You can literally smell the fear off of him. You dont thinl we need a keeper then!?

Didn't think it would be long before someone tries to blame Hennessey. How can anyone move forward with their feet together. Watch a bit more football and you will see loads of goals that go through keeper's legs, we scored two against Hull like that.

I think they just said on NBC that we need a point and a half per game to avoid the drop now

Bangell - If Camus wrote The Myth of Sisyphus today, it would be about Jason Puncheon eternally trying and failing to pass with his right foot.

The already looming relegation reality will put an end to that.

After a solid first half second half was pretty poor. Benteke is a lazy b@@stard!!!!! But we have no other choices!!!! At least sako runs for balls!!!!! Benteke has no passion!!!! Good job we did so well in the window for striker cover......oh wait a minute!!!!!!!!

Played Man City, City on fire, lost to Man City. Nobody played badly, they played Man City. No club would have beaten Man City today.

Literally nothing we could have done today. Just get back to training (which when we go forward is starting to pay off) and shrug off the game...

Very frustrating. We showed for 44 minutes that we could live with them with Sakho controlling the back door and Loftus-Cheek looking like doing some real damage; then collapsed in a heap as soon as Guardiola tweaked the formation a bit. Puncheon absolutely f***ing dreadful, it was like playing with ten men. Benteke awful as well.

But then this is the team that shows everyone what a joke FFP really is.

Not quite that bad. 32 games left x 1.5 points would be 48 points.

Our only saving grace is that there are 4 other teams who are still within touching distance of us. Bournemouth, West ham, Swansea and Brighton.

We can only pray that they keep losing to and when we get past the next 2 games we can HOPEFULLY start picking up some points.

I'm not holding my breath though.

Don't waste your time with jealousy. Sometimes your ahead, sometimes your behind, the race is long. But in the end it's only with yourself!!

How do they make that out? Six from thirty-eight is thirty-two, and forty divided by thirty-two is one and a quarter.

Good, thanks, I've been desperately avoiding doing the maths.
