Bangell - If Camus wrote The Myth of Sisyphus today, it would be about Jason Puncheon eternally trying and failing to pass with his right foot.

Brilliant. The team should come out to National Sh1te Day by Half Man Half Biscuit.

The same kind of chunt as would hold a May Ball in June, I suppose.

Now our lad's collection of kit is roughly this.

Barcelona home, 2.
Crystal Palace home, 2.
Real Madrid home, 1.
Paris Saint Germain home, 1.
Olympique Lyonnais home, 1.
Portugal home, 1.
Brazil home, 1.
Borussia Dortmund home, 1.
Airdrieonians boys', 1.

If you swapped the Palace ones for Celtic that would be pretty typical.

Thoughts from the Etihad:

1 the metro link trams get a tad crowded. Think shoppers should be banned on match days and trams laid on for away fans only.
2 First time at the stadium. Very nice and porcelain loos - very posh.
3 City fans completely unsupportive until they were 3-0 up. Over-developed sense of entitlement methinks.
4 City know how to commit a professional foul when needed - broke up some very promising breaks for us. Also allows them to push way forward without fear.
5 Despite knowing we would inevitably get hammered I had great hopes for 44 mins of the first half.
6 The team did look better without Punch and Ward.
7 Andros worked his socks off and managed to take Mendy out of the game as Mendy tried to cut him in half.
8 Benteke was not quite as bad as some suggest but did look slow and lacked control at times.
9 Hennessy did keep the score down but still seems to me to just fall over on balls rather than spring onto them.
10 Sakho looked rusty but still plays some good balls.
11 PVA/Schlupp seemed happy to let any City player swing in a cross without closing them down.
12 I really did want to chant 'if we hit the post then we''re on the pitch'. But then we did.
13 the hot chocolate's ok.
14 I got sat across from the alcoholic drinking vodka from the bottle on the train who asked what I thought about Kim f***** b***** c*** yung. I regaled him with some asian political theory. I think he was impressed.

Surely the answer to number 14 is it's very nice with fried rice.

I thought we kicked-off well - all six times.

This is also true. We must savour our good moments.
