Maybe he should just stick to factual announcements for a while? One of the places I worked had a Director of Personnel who would insist on having mass meetings with the staff about every organisational change, and they used to lead to more discontent than if he'd just emailed everyone. Sometimes it's just better not to engage too closely with the masses as you just tend to end up upsetting them. Perhaps that's a lesson that Steve should take heed of. No team that has lost their first six games of the season has survived relegation in the last 32 years - the last team to successfully avoid relegation after six winless matches to start a campaign were Leicester City in the 1983-84 campaign.I think its time for a little bet on that one
