That's not bad going really. Look at Arsenal and Everton. Took them much longer than 5 years in the top flight to tart their places up or get a new stadium. Same with most prem clubs. These things take a long time.

OK, then can you tell Mr Parish to stop teasing us with the suggestion of a new stadium in CPP, then a £50m/£100m(?) American investment in the infrastructure, supposedly for a new Main Stand and approval for a new club shop that never got built. It'd be nice if they'd even managed to do something about the bogs and the torrent of water that pours off the roof of the Main Stand in five years. Brighton have a new stadium and state-of-the-art training facilities/academy and they haven't been in the PL before.

Can you hear the Brighton sing? I can't hear a ******* thing!

You do talk nonsense at times, since when has he teased us with a new stadium.

He looked in to the possibility of CPP and then clearly said it was a non starter.

We've got American investment and the plan is to upgrades stands as and when we get permission etc etc. Is that teasing ?

Or is that working towards a fairly large project that takes times.

Liverpool
Everton
Tottenham

All been planning there stadiums for years! And yet palace owners are teasing their self righteous fans with the thought of a stadium for what, two years? Three , four ? I don't really think you can call it teasing... can you? however long it's been it's not nearly as long as some super clubs have been waiting. And it's hardly teasing when clearly there trying to work towards it.

Oh but sorry we're owed a new stadium cos Parish and co promised it... ? And they haven't delivered.

What a joke fan you are, if that's what your views are....

I didn't get what I wanted at Xmas !! Boo hoo !

Not one positive thing comes out from you, and now it's the old. The clubs done nothing in 5 years. Where's the stadium we was teased....

Official, we have the worse fans in the league. Shameful to think you're all actually from south London. Thought south London was better than that.

Shameful

Here's the link to the proposed stadium in CPP:

As a new 'supporter' you would have missed out on that one.

As for any other work, we'd actually have to submit a planning application which we have singularly failed to do, despite selling a significant proportion of the club to raise the funds to do so.

As pointed out, the only plans we've ever submitted were for a new club shop, and even that didn't get built and the planning permission has now expired.

There is going to be NO redevelopment. The will isn't there from the top and in all likelihood the £50mill has been spent already on Carlos Can'tkickaballs and manager's bonuses and pay-offs.

Anything you hear take with a massive pinch of salt and have a deep nasal intake of the aroma of BS too.

Only been supporting since erm very early 80's thanks.

And plans for a new training facilities, which as such a 'loyal' support im sure you are aware of.

Guess it's the clubs inept fault the plans got rejected for that, even though Bromley have said they'd be pleased to discuss solutions. I.e. Planning process.

But hey I guess a new facilities to upgrade our acedemy isn't on your list of wants?

Personally to me it's above a fancy new stadium. As it'll most likely lead to better young players.

You're a joke every last thing the club does you find fault in it. Never heard a positive peep out of you.

Sorry I've not been on the forum as long as you, guess that means in your small mind im a new supporter.

Coming from someone who berates our foreign fans I care not what you think. Nothing about you seems like Palace IMO, what this club could do with is a lot LESS fans like you.

You continue to make a complete fool of yourself and I think you are probably best ignored. You accuse anyone who disagrees with your perverse views of somehow being less of a supporter of the club, which is the talk of the primary school playground. I've no idea what you are talking about with respect to "foreign fans".

You have a lot of growing up to do young man and my advice to you is that you do it sooner rather than later before someone in 'real life' decides that you need teaching a lesson. Mind you I suspect that a keyboard warrior like yourself is a timid little mouse, who wouldn't say boo to a goose, in reality

Roy will see us alright. He's come into an impossible situation with the fixtures he's had first up. Things will change once they are out the way.

S***e and absolute cr*p?
You really do talk a load of absolute nonsense, why such exagerated over the top abusive terms?
Pardew saved us from relegation in his first season to finish 10th and the next season got us to an FA Cup Final.
Even when he was sacked in his 3rd seasons, we had never dropped into the relegation positions.
We used to score goals (remember those?)
You may he feel he lost his way but its ridiculous to describe him aa absolute cr*p.

See above in my post as to why he did well he first arrived. We then went onto win 6 games in 12 months was it? If that's not crap then I don't know what is. Is that a good return to you?

Yeah you basically said that all of Pardew's success was down to Pulis and Warnock, but you seem to ignore that we were terrible under Warnock and were almost certainly doomed to go down, until Pardew came and turned it around.
If Pulis had anything to do with Pardew's success, why was the team unable to perform under Warnock?
Warnock's record speaks for itself.

Yes, 2016 was a terrible calendar year, but a calendar year doesn't make a season, and the fact is we also won 5 FA Cup Games in the second half of the 2015/2016 season, 4 against Premiership opposition.
It was arguable that Pardew was focussing on the Cup, having got us to a position of near safety thanks to an excellent first half of the season.
The record was better for the first half of the 2016/2017 season and our loss percentage of league games was 59% - not great - but compare it to this season so far of 100% losses.
I would rather be looking at 1 win, 1 draw and 4 defeats after 6 games than 6 straight defeats without scoring.
